Capabilities
The tooling department at Littler Diecast Corporation has been part of the business since the beginning. In fact our business began as a tool shop. The tool room is primarily responsible for maintaining the tooling for diecast machines up to 1200 tons, used to produce over 500 part numbers. This includes diecast dies, trim dies and special machining fixtures and gages.
In addition, our tooling department has the capability of building higher quality smaller tools and special machining fixtures for our CNC department. Our goal is not only to meet our customer's diecast production needs, but their tooling needs as well, therefore; meeting our goals of quality, efficiency and delivery. Our expert staff and over 60 years of experience guarantee the best care of the customer's tool, assuring extended die life.
